For Brian 02:33
I've got one foot in the corner of the room that you just left, and I'm holding on to every breath because it's air you breathed around me and it's air that I'll exhale. And, just like that, you're gone. Now I'm sitting on the pavement grasping for the words to say, but the meaning in a challenge to convey. Sometimes the things we do don't matter and they make so little sense. And, just like that, you're wrong. My goal has never been to remain the girl with whom you fell in love, but to iterate the process every day. Progress is not prone to perfection, neither is the love between two hearts. But a long term love will find a way to stay.

Retrograde 03:31
We got naked on the full moon. When you think about it, what are we to do? Warm our hands on the fire of the wreckage brought about by our desire? I'm not sure now what it all meant. And, anyway, we'll all just wind up dead. But I made a promise that I'd like to keep. And, come to think, we all just need some sleep. For once, not better. For fun? Not ever. For truth? Or sport? Not playing anymore. Planets keep dancing, and without much haste. Mere inches separate me from your face. We fought so mildly. It's only a retrograde... but why is it no planets ever dance with me?

Whirling through time and space, bigger things are taking place. 'Neath the cover of the trees, we found each other. We all caught the scent of the path. Teeny bugs, they found our blanket. The sun found our shoulders. We found ourselves. We always talk of things that we'd like to be someday in smoky circles, on breezy porches. All the while being exactly what we are, lighting up the dark, flexing all we are like torches. Opening our eyes to the burden of the truth on breezy porches. Music made you catch your breath. Your colors made me cry. Children, we are. We shared a bubble of consciousness. We no longer had to hide. The feeling struck me blind when it took over. We always talk of things that we'd like to do someday, under swirling leaves in magic forests. All the while loving exactly where we are, exploring one another and peeking under rocks like tourists. Opening our eyes to the comfort of the truth in magic forests. Oh, you can chase me through the picture book on the stirring breathing ground! All is well, love. All is fine. In darkness, but in light.
